What to Expect During Your Visit
We’re so excited to welcome you and your child to our practice! Our goal is to make every visit smooth, comfortable, and positive—from the moment you schedule to the time you head home with a happy, healthy smile.
Pre-Appointment
Before your visit, our team takes a few simple steps to make your experience easy and stress-free:
- About a week before your appointment, we’ll reach out to confirm your visit. You’ll also receive friendly reminder messages as your appointment approaches.
- As a courtesy, we will verify your insurance benefits ahead of time to help avoid surprises.
- New patient forms will be sent via text and email so you can complete them at your convenience before arriving.
We want you to feel prepared and relaxed before you even walk through our doors.
During Your Appointment
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly, kid-focused environment where we take the time to help every child feel comfortable and at ease.
For New Patients:
- A comprehensive oral evaluation
- A gentle, kid-friendly professional cleaning
- X-rays (typically for children age 4 and up, if needed)
- A clear discussion of findings and a personalized treatment plan
Your child’s first visit is all about getting to know their smile and making sure you feel informed every step of the way.
For Existing Patients:
- Completion of recommended or recurring treatments
- Ongoing evaluation of oral health
- Discussion and updates to any treatment plans
We focus on maintaining healthy smiles while keeping you informed and involved in your child’s care.
After Your Appointment
As your visit wraps up, we’ll make the check-out process simple and efficient:
- You’ll stop by the front desk to check out
- Estimated fees will be reviewed and collected
- We’ll help you schedule your child’s next appointment
We’re here to make dental visits a positive experience from start to finish. If you ever have questions, our team is always happy to help—we’re honored to be part of your child’s dental journey!

When should my child have their first dental visit?
We recommend scheduling a “First Visit” by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth appearing to establish a healthy dental home early.
How do you handle children who are nervous about the dentist?
Our team uses “Superpower” themed positive reinforcement and gentle techniques to ensure every child feels safe, brave, and comfortable during their visit.
Do you offer services for all ages?
We provide dental care for children from infancy through the teenage years, offering age-appropriate treatments for toddlers, kids, and teens as their smiles grow and develop.
What should I bring to the first appointment?
Just bring your insurance information and any questions you may have about your child’s smile. New patient forms will be sent to you electronically prior to your visit so they can be completed ahead of time.
How often should my child come in for a check-up?
We generally recommend a professional cleaning and exam every six months.
